Default Connection Stupidity

I'm using Limewire in a private gnutella network and Limewire has a couple problems with that.

A main one I've been able to determine is when Limewire is running it doesn't know that it's already connected to a host and will try that same host again. For instance if there's only 2 hosts in the gnutella.net file and those 2 are already connected it will repeatedly try to connect to those same hosts over and over. It would seem to me to be fairly simple to make the program not connect to hosts it's already connected to.

This isn't so much a support question as a bug report, however I didn't see a forum for that.
