IE 6.0 on WinXP restarts when LimeWire running

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 on WinXP Home restarts when LimeWire running. Browser starts, URL links can be loaded but when any data entry (e.g. typing in a new URL) is done the browser dies and desktop is repainted. Running Limewire 2.5.5

Me too. Even with the advocated newer version of Java, Limewire conflicts with IE. Almost immediately upon opening IE, it crashes (closes or creates the bug report).

A real bummer.

Yes, I'm very disappointed that 2.5.5 breaks IE 6.0. From my experience, IE fails when you type a key. Using the mouse doesn't seem to break it, but the first keystroke and WHAM!

I wish I could go back to 2.4.1 which was working just fine before I was invited to upgrade.

It's Working fine for me.
