Uploads
 

I have Limewire 5.5 (newest ver) and am running it on Window 2000 Pro. I am able to d/l with no problems. When others try to upload from me it just sits there saying uploading but going nowhere until the other user finally stops the u/l. I do not have a firewall, virus protect prog., and the bandwith is set at max. with 6 total uploads available (3 per person). Thanks

The newest version is LW 2.6.3.

Ok upgraded to 2.6.3 and still no change. Will not upload to other users. I have 301 files shared on a cable modem and can't give. This is aggravating. Have looked at others with same problem and have not seen a fix yet. Thanks

Did you change any of the upload-settings in the options?

How long did you leave LimeWire running?

Maybe nobody wants your files. - If you want to make sure that you can upload very badly, you might try sharing really popular files like porn or divx movies...

If nobody wanted my files I wouldn't have a long list of non completed attempted uploads. And if it takes porno to get people to "want" my files to bad. (Yes my wife would be upset if she saw porno on my computer - I have to keep it elswhere). I leave LW running for hours and no change. No uploads. Ive tired different settings in speed and uploads to no avail.
