![]() I'm running LimeWire 2.6.3 Pro on Windows XP Professional on a Microsoft Small Business Server 2000 network (Windows 2000 Server, ISA Server). On a previous version of LimeWire, I was saving to \\Server\Music\Good\Gnutella (a UNC path on my local area network). When I upgraded, LimeWire defaulted to a folder on my C:\. I tried to change it back to \\Server\Music\Good\Gnutella, but got an "Invalid directory for saving files" error. I also tried to map \\Server\Music to the Y:\ on my computer, and got the same error. Is this a bug in the software, or am I doing something wrong? ![]() |

![]() I've just tried it here with LimeWire 2.6.1 (little or no difference from 2.6.3) and it works. I did manage to enter the wrong UNC path a few times before I checked what things were actually called - unfortunately you can't browse network location from within LimeWire. I can only suggest that you check permissions and that you have entered the path correctly (including drive name). If you have a secured network (no guest account enabled) then you may need to browse with windows explorer first to wake up the connection. Mark |
