Very weak program. Besides the enormous problems on the various Windows platform, it loses download lists after crashes, it randomly quits and is a generally very weak program. My suggestion: download it for free if you MUST use it using Kazaa (a much better, more stable program) and use Kazaa for your reliable peer-peer downloading software. Limewire Pro 2.5.5 and 2.6.3 Pro are both available through Kazaa. Don't pay for krap! When the program merits its own purchase, go for itm until then, consider yourself a beta-tester... Good Luck

Kazaa is not a Gnutella client - it is a FastTrack client (along with Grokster and Imesh, I think). You may be able to find similar content - but it isn't the same content.

You may have had a lot of trouble with LimeWire - but lots of windows users have little or no trouble.

Yes - losing the download list is a pain - and this could be improved - but I haven't lost a download list since the first 2.6 Beta.

Nor have I had any crashes or instant quits since installing the latest Java (1.4.1).

But it takes all sorts - enjoy Kazaa.
