Is a back-leveled version of LimeWire available?

My brother has been losing his connection while running LimeWire 2.8.5. His ISP is AOL and he has Windows XP installed. Is there a place from which he can download an earlier version of LimeWire (2.6 or later)?

By the way, I'm running LimeWire 2.5.5 and haven't had any problems.
