 Freezing/CPU Usage... v2.8.5 Using v2.8.5 w/ Windows 2000 (SP2... i know). Anyway, was dealing with the freezing issue with CPU usage steady at 99%. GUI was sluggish as *@!$. Took a look at the "Incomplete" folder and there were approximately 260+ files totalling over 2GB. I deleted this files (save ~500MB) and *poof*, problem solved. Maybe this will work for others... Has anyone heard of any limitations to the number of files in/size of the "Incomplete" folder, or a limit to the size of/number of entries in the "downloads.dat" file? Could be an issue...  |
