Default Java error message

I have recently downloaded and installed in my PC Limewire Basic. Whenever I reboot the PC, the following error message appears on screen: "Java.lang.No Class Def found error". As soon as I click on OK button, booting continues and everything runs normal including Limewire Basic.I tried uninstalling J2RE Std Edition V1.3.1_04 and Limewire Basic then reinstalling both but the error message still appears.
My PC is Dell PIII 500 mhz with 256 RAM and Windows 98 SE operating system. It is connected to the internet through a cable modem.

Please advice what steps to take to eliminate this error. It may not affect the operation of my Pc, but it is very annoying.
Thank you,

Eddie Pajarito

Try going to Control Panel, double click the Java V1.3.1-04 icon. Select the advanced tab. If either IE or Netscape is selected uncheck it. Reboot your computer.

Good luck,

Norm
