Problem FIXED If you use Microsoft Windows, then a guy just resolved this problem. I had the same problem. Look for Display.props file in a directory that also should contain limewire.props and you will most likely find it corrupted or blank.
The guy who helped me with it, told me a bunch of stuff to add, then resave the file, and then run limewire. It fixed it.
Here is an example of what you can put in this Display.props text file, (from my experience so far).
LOCATION=105
COUNT=15
QUALITY=67
TYPE=37
VENDOR=60
SIZE=67
CHAT=28
audios__audio__bitrate__=59
SPEED=57
NAME=393
