file saving

ok i am wanting to changer the directory to which my files are saved. the program is not letting me. it is currently saving to C:\Program Files\LimeWire\2.8.6\lib . I want it to be saved in this directory here C:\Documents and Settings\RedTHAMan\Shared. yet i keep getting invalid directory message. what should i do.
