Default Limeshop

I installed limewire and it installed limeshop. Now limeshop is messing up my computer. Every time I turn it on, I get an error:could not execute main: the system cannot find the file specified. And I get the same message if I try to delete it.

Uh, what version? I've been using this seriously for about 6 months, on and off for over a year and a half. I don't recall a limeshop.

Can you give us your specs and a bit more into the nature of the problem?

LimeShop/TopMoxie is bundled with the english Windows installer. - Try removing it with AdAware or something.

Unhappy Limeshop

I have a similar problem. I downloaded and installed Limewire 2.9.11 several weeks ago and can not uninstall Limeshop, it does not appear as a program to remove in control panel and refuses to be deleted! So your uninstall instructions in the readme file are of no use.

Execute the command "msconfig" to see all programs currenty loaded when windows is started. If LimeShop/TopMoxie does not appear in that list, it is obviously not installed.
