Default java out of memory

I keep getting an error message that reads:

java.lang.out of memoryerror <<no stack trace available>>

does anybody know how to resolve this?

I'm sure this is not a complicated problem, but I don't know how to respond to it.

thank you

LimeWire throws those exceptions. They appear even if you do have enough physical memory. This could be caused a minor bug in the JVM.

thank you for the replies: I use Limewire. I'm not sure what JVM is.

The Java Virtual Machine, - part of your Java Runtime Environment (JRE) that you probably got from Sun (java.sun.com).

If LimeWire's still running after you see the error, everything is fine.

P.S. If you have problems with LimeWire you should go to the LimeWire section of this forum.
