(Win 2000) Unable to Launch Java Application
 

I cannot get the Limewire to install! I will see the following message....

UNABLE TO LAUNCH JAVA APPLICATION
Unable to locate the application's 'main' class. The class 'com.zerog.ia.installer.MAin' must be public and have a 'public static void main(string[])'method. (LAX)

What Gives? I exit zone alarm before attempting the installation...HELP!

I have installed the Java-Version on Windows 2000 but I haven't found any executable or class-file in the Limewire directory. There is no possibility to start Limewire. http://forums.gnutelliums.com/frown.gif

same as me... i also tried the limewireother.zip in case some missing files which didn't worked again. after some searching on the publishers site, i found out that there are some compability issues on win2000; what a shame!!!
i will go on to use my gnotella client again. i thought limewire had a good deal with development made, after browsinf trough their entire site, but it seems they have to go and learn some more to do a full compatible tool.
i hope to see their w2k-fix release very soon. more and more users use WinMe and Win2k lately, so they have no choice other than to fix it.
