Unable to click on "search" button
 

Really nothing to add to the above statement...the search button is there but it's not 'highlighted' so I'm unable to click on it. Any suggestions what to do to fix this? I'm using XP and not Pro LimeWire.

Hi,

First, make sure you have the latest version of the LimeWire software which you can obtain at www.limewire.com.

Next load LimeWire, select connect in the file menu, and wait 5 minutes. Is the search button still greyed out?

Subsequent attempts to connect should be quicker as your LimeWire learns about the terrain of the network.

Fixed.....
 

I uninstalled LimeWire and reinstalled and now it works fine. Go figure. I really needed this...my son in Iraq was wanting new CD's...just glad I could get it up and working.
