![]() Other than the slow download speed I got from CNet, I have had zero problems running 1.5. I've been running it solid for 24 hrs without problems on my Win2K machine. Since a lot of the issues seem to vaguely stem from this somehow, I will note that I did not allow LimeWire to install the JRE onto my computer. I already had the same thing installed that I had downloaded from Sun quite a while ago to run Java applets in Mozilla. As a result, when it tried to install it, I cancelled (or exited setup of it, I can't remember the option at the moment) and it left that installation and finished the LimeWire installation. All is well with my installation. Also, someone mentioned (although on Win98) the sys tray icon not working. I've had no problems with that working either. |
