Someone please tell me how to unistall limewire and limeshop. I am a little afraid of messing with the registry as mentioned in previous posts. Why does Limewire not have an uninstall? I am unhappy with it and I want to get rid of it completely.

You can unstall LW. Go to the control panels and click add/remome programs. Why are you unhappy with LW, I think that its the best out there.

you know there are free clients without this crapware out there which are so good as Limewire if not better...

Once I click Limewire on add/remove programs and briefly the uninstall box flashes then disappears. It's not that I am so unhappy with Limwire, but I wish it had the option of uninstalling. Same thing happened to me with Xolo.

I have tried quite a few of the other P2P programs out there, but I have found that once you get around the "crapware" LW is really quite good. ( I guess I can't say that its the best out there since I haven't tried them all) I think that it is good software once you get rid of the little suprises. Everyone's got thier own opinion.

I just read a thread of someone not being able to uninstall
limewire. I'm having the same problem. I hope someone knows
how to get rid of it.
