Can't install downloaded LImewire 1.6

I unistalled my old LimeWire program before installing the new version 6.1, as recommemded........when i went to install the downloaded LImeWire.exe, a red X POP-WINDOW appeared: "The InstallEngine (iKernel.exe) could not be launched. Error loading type library/DLL

Can anyone help me with this? Is this my own internal core problem...i am basically clueless. Now I have zero access to any Limewire program.

LimeWire 1.6 Installation Problem

fix

had the same problem...found the fix in Install shield...

goto: http://www.microsoft.com/com/dcom/dcom98/download.asp

this should do it.
