 3.8.6 Pro: Can't Uninstall & Weird screen issues in search results Having two issues with LimeWire 3.8.6 Pro, English installation version (the smaller download file). The first is that I can't uninstall the program. This is important as I'm trying to upgrade to the latest Pro beta, and the installation is failing as it comes back as stating that it can't find the limewire.msi file to uninstall the current version. The second issue can pretty much only be explained by the screenshot. If I go to work in another program, and come back to LimeWire, even after a few minutes, all of the search results begin to look like the attached file screenshot. Running: LimeWire 3.8.6 Pro Win2Kpro SP4 (IE 5.5 installed on system but Moz/Firefox is default browser) P-III/600 384MB RAM Cablemodem w/ static IP JRE 1.4.2_3 Last edited by pcfrank; March 2nd, 2004 at 07:41 PM.  |
