Default How to convert formats

Used to be Mac user and so quite familiar w/ thier apps. Now I am in windows and not everything is as automatic. Had a bunch of mp3s but had converted them to .aif format. They play using quicktime, but I'd like to convert them back to mp3. Any good app to do this? Thanks

Try a thorough search around this site...

http://www.file-ext.com/multimedia.html#Multimedia

It is an amazing site for both explanations of file extensions
AND conversion programs... For converting almost anything to anything !

A prior Mac user and never heard of iTunes? iTunes for Mac and Windows can convert MP3, AAC, WAV, AIFF and CDDA back and forth.

Default Playing AVI files on Media Player 9

Hello. I am new to the network and limewire, less than 72 hours, I believe. Movies I have downloaded with the avi extension will not play on media player 9. I followed the link Ursula gave to, I think Mask, or Mark. That link is for Win NT and 95. I am running XP. Can anyone help me with this conversion? Please post here and email at rkkinlaw@alltel.net in the event I can not find my way back here. Thank you so much for the help.

If you are using Mac OS 8.6 or higher, see if http://www.3ivx.com/download/ will help to play .avi files. If it does, please post back.
