LimeWire is now installing the Java2TM Runtime Environment, v1.3.1. This may take a few minutes. Please wait...

Gee, what a wonderful piece of software. There is nothing like a program that requires an additional 5 MB download beforehand just to make the damn installation run correctly! I can't wait to see what other WONDERFUL IMPROVEMENTS they have in store for us in version 1.6!

Add me to the list of people who hang at the java install. Didn't work in 1.6, nor in 1.6b. I'm now running Limewire 1.4. I'll hold on to this software a little while longer.

It won't work for me either. But it works fine on my friends computer with Win2k. I have Win98SE. Oh well. Hopefully that "useful tidbit" above will solve this problem.

Word.
