How do you minimize Limewire 1.6 in system tray Anybody know how to minimize Limewire 1.6 in the systems tray in windows 2000? It's listed in their features list, but I can't figure out how to do it. Any response is greately appreciated. Jr. |
You should see a little LimeWire icon appear in your system tray just after the LimeWire window appears -- it's a little green plug in the corner. When you exit the program, you should see a dialog window asking you whether or not you would like to keep LimeWire in the system tray. If you answer "Yes...", the LimeWire icon should remain. It should also display a menu when you right-click on it and bring up LimeWire when you double click. If this is not the case on your system, then there may be some problem that we are not aware of. |
Sorry I made a mistak I'm running win 98 and not 2000. I can get it to work on 2000, but not on win 98 SE. Jr. |
This feature is not yet implemented for Windows 95/98/ME. We are working hard to add it to these platforms. We're just a bunch of Java programmers over here, so we take a little longer busting out the win32 code and integrating it well with Java. |
No problem I know it's pretty hectic trying to put together applications for all the different platforms out there. I'll just keep checking back for updates. Thanks for all you help, and your quick responses. Jr. |
