Arrow transfer of files

I have used Bearshare for a long time so I have a lot of files. But how do I get my Bearshare shared folder into into my Limewire folder so I can share them. I've tried everything I can think of but I can't get it to work. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you are running windows open your Bearshare shared folder from explorer, shrink it to one side of the screen and open your Limewire shared folder on the other side. In the bearshare folder at the top select "edit, select all" Hold down your right mouse button and drag the files to your Limewire folder. Release the mouse button and choose either "move here" or "copy here". If you move then they will not be available in Bearshare any more. If you copy them they will be available for Bearshare and Limewire.

I hope this helps.

Norm

I will have to guess here. It is probably located on your C drive.

Go to Start, Open My Computer, open the C drive. Look for Bearshare. Open Bearshare and look for a folder named "shared" or something like that. Not using Bearshare myself makes it hard for me to help you.

Another thing you might try is to go to the start menu and select search. Search for a file you know is in your Bearshare shared folder. When the computer finds the file it will show you the path to the folder.

Good Luck,

Norm

Click on Start in Windoze XP...
Next...
Do a 'Search' or 'Find' for any filename that you are sure was in your BearShare Downloads Folder...
(Do NOT shoot your monitor !!! There are other ways to be rid of that damned dog !)

or

If BearShare is still installed, just click on File in the Menu Bar, on the upper left of the GUI, and then select Explore Downloads.
(Same for your BearShare Temp files.)

There, ya see ?
Norm agrees !
