Double Click on Limewire 1.6 Icon and Nothing Happens??

This problem was posted a week ago but there was no answer. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?

I just downloaded 1.6 yesterday. When I click on the desktop icon, it runs me thru a little startup procedure, then nothing happens. How do I get to where I can actually download music files?

I'm obvioulsy very new at this. Any help appreciated
