Buttons look corrupt after monitor resumes from shut-down mode

When windows resume from the monitor shut-off mode, which launches some time after the screen-saver activates (can be set at the energy saving options), the buttons and most icons appear corrupt.

Although they work as usual, they are difficult to distinguish, especially for a new Limewire user.

This happens mostly using the default theme, but also appears (with less corrupted things) in the windows theme.

Computer Being Used: Windows Millenium, Sun's Java2 Runtime Environment 1.4.2_01 and Limewire 4.0.4 but happened also in 3.8.6 and earlier...
