![]() tiffer89, A "beta" is a version of a program that has not been "oficially" released and may contain bugs and errors. It also is usually more advanced then the general release of a program and will contain new features not available in the released edition. If you are fairly computer literate you might enjoy testing a Beta version of a program. It gives you a jump on what is to come. Most beta versions work without a hitch but you should be ready to encounter some issues and be ready to troubleshoot them. All that said I have found Limewire beta releases to be exceptional. Very few issues. I hope that helps you. Norm |
