why cant i put them on a cd
 

Hi, i use windows media player to burn cds. I'm trying to get the songs from limewire on to windows media player. i save them and open them in windows media player but it says it cant read it. how do i put my downloaded songs onto a cd?

Try downloading Nero Burning Rom the free edition to find it make a google search once you have it a window will pop up when you open it.
It has options on the side if you want an audio cd select audio if you want an mp3 cd select cd rom.
or depending on the version there might be a popup asking you questions the first two can be selected by your judgement and for the third one, select audio for an audio cd, and data for an mp3 cd. the rest of the questions should be answered like the first two

at the end select the button with the hand pointing to a cd which has flames flying of of it

There have been 'so many' threads asking similar questions. There's also many other free burners you can get. If you do a search of the forum you'll find links to them. In fact you should have searched the forum in the 1st place. Did you bother to read the Sticky: Burning a audio CD from your MP3's And did you read the forum rules? Do a search for burn/burner/free.
