Problems with JRE

I installed the default JRE1.3 that came with LimeWire but yesterday I updated to the 1.4.2_05 SDK/JRE and uninstalled JRE1.3 and now LimeWire says that no JRE is found and to install one, I've tried reinstalling the SDK/JRE and LimeWire. Any suggestions?

Which limewire version? I suggest you try the 4.1.5 beta if you did not do that already. Does double-clicking on the "LimeWire.jar" file in the LimeWire folder open LimeWire?

.jar files aren't associated on my computer..

Associate them with javaw.exe.
