LimeWire Installation Problem on Windows 2000 Server (Blocked DHCP/DNS) Yesterday I downloaded and installed the latest version (free) of LimeWire on my PC (running Windows 2000 Server). As soon as I restarted my PC all the internet based programs are not working. When I try to run Limewire itself it gives me an error that I have to install Java (even I have already done it while installing LimeWire) Now even I am unable to explore the internet. I have checked my event viewer. There is something which is stopping my DHCP and DNS services to run and get IP address from the server. It seems that something might have Blocked my PORTS/Sockets etc. If someone could help me in this then it will be really appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
