what is a java environment?
 
what is a java runtime environment and why does limewire say to download it to improve performance......

how do I use java for limewire.....im lost please help:confused:

Java is a programming language. Limewire is is written in java. Your have to install Java because it has to be translated to machine language (which you computer understands).

An improved/faster java performance, improves also the Limewire performance.

How do I utilize Java for Limewire
 
Java will find limewire?

as far as I know limewire will run within or on top of the java platform?


But how do I know its using java, the reason why I ask is that
when I open java it shows the applications associated with java.

It does not show limewire

So what is a JRE file and how do I make Limewire communicate or run within the jave console or whatever they call it????????????????????please help me I am eager to learn about every problem I do not understand !

Open Limewire if it starts, you know Limewire is using Java because Limewire will not run without it.
