Bring it indoors out of the cold & let it thaw out. lol Reminds me of a snowman.

Windows ME is a rather old OS to be running nowadays with today's apps! How much RAM do you have & what's the speed of your CPU processor? How big is your HDD & how much space do you have left? Do you run any other apps when you use LW & which ones? What version of Java did you update to?

ive got 64mb of ram.I updated to the fastest processor that I could without changing the board.Ive downloaded Java2 runtime 1.4.2_06.iVE Ran L. W. with and without other applications.
Ive RAN ALL kAZAA APLICATIONS WITH NO PROBLEMS,AND older Lime wire .I have plenty of space. All of other aplication in my system run fast as long as I dont have L.W. activated

I'd suggest RAM is your issue. I think 50 MB of ram is the recommended minimum. But that doesn't leave much left over for your Operating System or any other apps. It's not only LW that needs ram but java is not the most ram efficient softw out there.

No, 64MB is the minimum.
The solution would be to get another comp altogether. Not very good for your budget, I know. But once you get into a new comp, it will be like heaven.
