Limewire - brand new laptop

I'm trying to run limewire on my new laptop with no luck

Whenever limewire connects windows shuts down with a fatal message and reboots - which isn't healthy

I've tried all versions including pro with and without my firewall but no luck - How come with my old machine running 98 all was fine? Grrrrr

What can i do to remedy this???

Please supply more details such as os version, any update additions, LW version, Java version, ram amount, connection type, firewall/routers, etc. It is very important to know exactly what message you're receiving. It will probably have an error no.#. My 1st guess would be to trash your LW prefs, failing that to reinstall whilst also updating to the most recent Java version (extremely important.)

Centrino 1.6

Broadband (600 i think)

I use Zone alarm 5.1.033.00

I use a belkin wireless router

The error message flashes (blue background white writing) and the computer restarts way to quick before i have a chance to read it
