problems with renaming and deleting Hi, I'm using Limewire and having some problems with sorting the mp3s in my library. With some files, if I want to rename or delete them, I get a message like this one: "Unable to delete the file '12 - mouth's cradle' ...It may be in use by another application." With the example above, I'd downloaded the file, added it to my playlist and played it a couple of times. then I took it out of my playlist and tried to delete it, and get that message. I'm wondering what this means. Anyone know how I can delete this file? (or change it's name?) cheers locrian. |
try closing limewire Have you tried closing LimeWire completely by right clicking on the icon in the bottom right of the screen and exiting? |
thanx, that worked for one of my files, but i'm still having the same problem with some others I downloaded a few days ago. |
Make sure ALL your apps are shut off. Including audio apps in particular. Alternatively, do a Safe start & try it. |
