Did you uninstall your old version of LimeWire before trying to install the new one? This might be the problem...

It may be possible that your download was corrupted. It shouldn't have that error message when you go to install it. Are you running Windows 9x? 2000? Alternatively, if you want to post your e-mail address, I can send you a self-extracting zip file with all the pieces you need to fake the install. This requires that Java (2) Run Time Environment be already installed, though. You know you already have it if you go to Start > Settings > Control Panel, Double-click "Add/Remove Programs," and you see "Java 2 Runtime Environment Standard Edition v1.3.1" in the list.

Talking Got it....

I tried to download a few other things and got the same error. So I started thinking it was my computer and it was. My internet explorer was corrupt. I tried downloading using netscape and it worked fine. Thanks for the help anyway...
