Default Missing iTunes Options

Well it seems no matter what version of limewire I use I am missing the itunes options. Seems to show up on my other comp but not this one. I've tried unintalling several times and several different version from 4.1.5 to current 4.2.4 with no luck. Is there something Im missing or am I just getting the shaft on this one.

What option are you missing? Is the other computer also running Windows, or OSX?

Did you use the English or International installer? Use the English one. (There was a period of 5 minutes yesterday where the English link was giving the International one, so you may want to redownload it.)

Ive tried both to no avail. I really have no idea what would even cause something like this.

Ras: May I ask what type of set-up you have? How much ram do you have? How much free HDD space do you have? How fast is your processor? What type of connection do you have. Do you have any reason for installing SP2? SP2 was not designed for the individual home user but big companes that run major networks. And it's even caused side-effects for them. M$ admits that at least one in 8 or 10 apps will suffer some side effect from the installation of SP2 such as loss of normal functionality. You could always try uninstalling it. People have done it & it's done them wonders! Really! There's no need for you to have SP2 it doesn't serve any purpose for you. You might be surprised! In future whenever an M$ update comes around, wait several mths before updating until they've gotten rid of the bugs. SP2 has been here for several mths but there's still bugs within it even after 2 'so-called' fix-it patches. ie: don't fall into the trap of continually updating b/c they suggest you should. Wait! Be wise & hold off as long as possible. M$ make millions every day, so why should they care about the odd bug.

old rig... Athalon xp 1700+, 512 ram, about 30 gb free of 80 gb hdd, 300/40 KBs. As far as sp2 goes id prefer to keep it because of the fact that I have a tendency to hop from one thing to another on this computer such as running it as a web server for testing purposes and other things. But if you believe that sp2 may be at fault here, maybe its worth taking a peek.

But how exactly does it help you? How can limiting connectivity & changing your firewall settings from previously set help you exactly. I'm eager to learn exactly what advantage you find out of using SP2 for the web. If you're having anything to do with gaming, phone or video conferencing then you'd find SP2 a major headache I'm sure. It's caused headaches in business, schools, home, etc. as well loss of a considerable amount of money.

If you want good security then get a good, decent firewall. Backed up with AV, adaware & spyware.
