LimeWire1.6d won't start!
 

Please help, I've downloaded and installed many versions of LimeWire (I'm using Windows '98) and have never had a problem. I installed 1.6d the other day and have not been able to start it! Never seen this problem before and its a major one. Any suggestions?

depending on your computer if you have downloaded many different versions you computer may be trying to pull up old files associated with limewire and freezing its startup. You might try to uninstall all your limewire programs you may have on you computer by add/remove hardware in the control panel. Then redownloading and installing.

i also just upgraded to 1.6 and can't get the bugger to start, even after uninstalling all other versions, and manually going through and scrubbing the registry.
