Lime Wire 4.2.4 Won't Open (Launch)
 

I have downloaded 4.2.4, installed it to my XP, reinstalled it twice, uninstalled it & downloaded it again, installed it & reinstalled it 3 times. To "open" the program I have tried double clicking the desk top icon, opening it through START/ALL PROGRAMS, through Windows Explorer, and checking the "LAUNCH LIME WIRE NOW" box in the last installation window. Each time the same thing happens......N O T H I N G !!!!! It doesn't even show up in my Windows Task Manager window. It's as if I never tried to open it. No error messages...just nothing.

May I suggest 2 things: read the following thread & its link to Updting your installshield engines: Here (click on link!) & also update your java to: Java 1.4.2 (click on link)
