Your mp3 player should have instructions about how to import songs. Do you know where your LW dwnld folder is? Your LW dwnld folder's name, location & path can be found out by going to LW's menu Tools>Options>Saving. Also if you have LW 4.2, in your LW Library window there will be a folder called 'Saved files'. Click on this, & then click onto any of the files listed to the right of it & press the Explore button. This will open the folder up for you. I don't know about WMP. If your mp3 player is an iPod then you should have iTunes. Once you connect your iPod it will automatically upate with iTunes playlists. |
I don't know how, and can't find, how to get files from LimeWire to my iTunes library. They aren't going on my iPod or to my iTunes library. |
To my knowledge the windows version of LW does not allow auto-importing of songs directly to iTunes (like the mac osx version does.) You may need to manually import them to iTunes. See either or both: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/...ial/index.html & also http://www.kapsi.de/files/itunes.html So there's many techniques to get your songs into iTunes. You can also just drag & drop them onto iTunes. iTunes will then add them to its own library, & orgainise them into separte folders depending on artist, album, etc. To know where your LW dwnld folder is, go to LW's menu Tools>Options>Saving & this will tell you the name, location & path of this folder. If you have LW 4.2 you will find a folder in your LW Library window called 'Saved Files'. Select this & then select any songs that appear to the right of it, then press the Explore button & this folder will open up for you. |
Creative Zen With the Zen, the Creative MediaSource Organiser prog. which is supplied with the mp3 player enables you to import any mp3 files from elsewhere in your p.c. by browsing through your directories. Once these are imported, they can be loaded onto your player very easily by clicking on the 'move' arrows between two adjacent file lists. The two file lists represent respectively the contents of your Creative library and the contents of your Creative mp3 player. Music files can be moved in either direction. |
