Default Stop Limewire from eating my RAM

How do I stop Limewire from eating so much RAM when it runs. I mean Limewire uses 35 Meg when it runs compared to Kazaa which uses 9 Meg. I cannot stand having Limewire eat so much RAM I like the program but I must reduce the RAM. So how can I reduce the RAM that Limewire uses and eats? Help me please. Beer is good.

Keep your Java up to date Java 1.4.2 (click on link)
& get more ram.

Also hide any windows you don't need to be open such as connections & monitor, & close off any old obsolete search results. Also set your dwnlds for AutoClear. This 'will' help!

Just curious, how much ram do you have overall? Anything less than 256 MB on either Windows XP or Mac OS X is probably not enough to avoid issues. There are other ways to help with lack of ram, but these are fairly advanced topics which should not be attempted yet.

Lol, you're lucky... My Limewire uses over 150MB and 100% CPU (so much the mouse won't move correctly...)
*sniff*
