Has anyone had blue screen crashes while LimeWire in operation?, I've had 4 now and at varying times from 5-30mins.
I'm running a new system with XP/SP2 pre-installed and Java 1.4.
I know crashes are usually a hardware problem, but up until using LimeWire, I've not had this problem.

If anyone can read a 'mimidump' file, this may explain it?.

Any suggestions or comments gratefully received.

Also the experts might need a little better information
about your system and setup. Type machine if you were running other programs etc.

Search the word Blue on the forum. You'll find some wonderful discussions about this as well as some links to other sites for solutions. (The search button is top right of this page.)

The most recent person who had this issue had a problem with their cpu I think it was & there was an update/upgrade to repair it for that particular model of computer.

Have looked at suggestions and will try them. First I'm going to take LimeWire off and see if the problem of crashing still exists, if not at least I have narrowed it down.
Is the update to Java 5SE going to help?, has this improved other people's problems?.
