Hi rcanham,

What version of LimeWire & Java are you using? You can find this from click Help->About in LimeWire.

Thanks.

That happened to me yesterday (LW 4.4.0.) I solved it by trashing the LW Preferences folder & then rebooting. You might not need to reboot, on my system it runs a little slow & there can be side-fx b/c of that for me so at least just try deleting your prefs.
Delete the LW Preferences folder called .limewire (whilst LW is closed!) & found here:
Windows NT 4.0 / 2000 / XP: C:/Documents And Settings/your_username/.limewire
OR Windows 98 / ME: Your .limewire folder is in "C:\My Documents" (BUT make a note of all your LW settings 1st, b/c after you delete the LW prefs folder you'll need to reset them.)

At 1st I thought it was due to the skin but it proved not to be.

Are you asking me or SBerlin?

For your LW Prefs you can find them if you use techniques in this sample here: Fixes for Limewire (Bottom of page)

rcanham --

We can't seem to reproduce this with the latest version (LimeWire 4.4.3) and that version of Java.

The resolution is your screen at? You can find this out by right-clicking somewhere on your desktop, choosing 'Properties' and clicking the 'Settings' tab. There should be an area that says 'Screen Resolution'.

Here's a very large sample GiF from yesterday (I use Java 1.5.)

No stretching of the interface from bottom corner or resizing of window fixed it (resizing using the window icon for full window.) Neither did the arrows within the interface.

Only answer was to delete the LW prefs folder. And for me also rebooting immediately after deleting prefs folder.

I had been wondering what happened to my playlist! lol )

We're gonna release a new version soon that fixes this bug. Keep your eye out for LimeWire 4.4.4. (Lotta 4's, no?)

In the meantime, allow your dock to hide (right-click on it and choose Properties, then 'Auto-Hide') and maximize LimeWire.
