Default Moving MP3 files to MP3 player

I just DLed limewire 4.4.4 and I would like to access all of my downloads through My Computer, but I can't find them. So I have to add the MP3 to iTunes and then copy it and paste it into my MP3 player folder. Is there an easier way to do this?

Hmmm not sure if it's any easier, but you can you use windows explorer to do a search *.mp3. Make sure the search is for all files and folders, and the "look in" is set to your hard drive(usually C.

are all of my downloads supposed to be in a certain folder? The only folders I have are .NetworkShare and root. Neither of them have my downloads.

In LimeWire 1) tools 2) options 3) saving

That will show the location of where all your saved files are going once they are finished d/ling.

What operating system are you using?

I'm using Windows XP and my PC is about a year old. I went to see the folder the songs are saved in and it says they are in the "shared" folder. But when I open up limewire in my computer I dont see a "shared" folder.

In LimeWire go to the libray tab, and what other folders do you have there, besides incomplete files, and saved files.

Which Operating System are you using?

The default for windows is C://Docs & Settings/User Name/ Shared

Not sure about your OS!

You can of course go to LW's Library window & select the Saved Files folder & press the Explore button which will open it up for you. From there you can drag & drop or copy, etc. to yur prefered destination. Some mp3 p;ayers have their own support softw which enables easy copying/transference to your transportable mp3 player.

Looks as though I might be a bit slow anwering!

That's exactly what I needed! Yeah with my MP3 player I just copy and paste the files into the MP3 folder. I wish LW would just let you do that from the play list. Thanks for your help too, fabion.
