tmd, divx Hello, I downloaded two videos, 1 tmd which I can play, the other divx which gets me an error message 'windows media player cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the player does not support the format,. Running windows xp. Can anyone help? THANKS |

Two things: 1. Xtra codecs: http://www.land.ee/d_nimo_codec.html OR http://www.click-now.net/html/K-LiteCodecPack.htm 2. A backup player: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (choose nearest mirror site) It's free & has built-in codecs & plays all the new formats. |

If VLC player won't play it then it doesn't sound good. VLC will normally play all divx & avi types. Could be corrupt video files then. You could try: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ to find out what codec is required. |
