Well...I have Nvidia Geforce MX4000 and my display drivers according to hardware device manager, are spot on.

Any ideas as to why LW still crashes on my XP machine?

Before you ask:

80gb main, 120 gb removable.
512 ram
sempron 2400

I just set my D3D settings to default for my ATI and my problems went away. Might be a AA or AF problem.

OMG, you have no idea how much I love you! I was having the same blank window startup problems (seems to be a Java thing, BTW, not just Limewire) and tried everything: Re-installing Java, deleting .limewire folder, re-installing Limewire, updating drivers, etc, etc...

Now all I had to do was stick AA and AF on Aplication controlled and it works again!!!

What a complete and utter star.

Default Thanks

I also went through a lot of trouble trying to get this to work. When I saw the other thread saying it was due to "cheap display boards" I got a little mad considering I have a fairly new X800XT PE, I don't think this was a cheap display board. Lowering my D3D did fix it though, thank you.
