Limewire suddenly doesnt open.
 

Hi I upgraded to the lastest LW 4.8.1.

It worked for a little bit but now suddenly when I go to open it I get the hour glass for a fraction of a second then nothing.

I have tried all the required fixings sugested in other posts but none seemed to work.

I am pretty sure it isnt an internet connection problem.

Can you please let me know if there is something that I am missing or any possible new fixes?

I just fixed it.

go into your control panel and open Add Remove Programs.

Delete everything java and do not click on anything that says restart computer.

then go to this url and install the off line java for windows.

then restart

I was able to open LW again!
