how do i convert cd's to mp3? i'm very new to all of this and could use the help

Alltough not my first choice, Windows mediaplayer does this.
Click on the ripping tab, the rest is easy.

If you want to use higer standard software go for CDex
And take your time to read the help, so you know what your doing.

In any case avoid lowbitrate MP3, do your MP3's at 256 minimum
