Angry Limewire keeps freezing!!!

I updated all my Java , I removed .limwire folder and reinstalled Limewire and Java.

Lets say this in an easier way I done everything and still limewire freezes then stops and I am getting extremely frustrated .

I have questioned everyone about there limewire .

As soon as I start limewire and type a single phrase it freezes for like 5 mins , It works and then I download a file and then it freezes and after that the connection gets loose and my one of my files says waiting for busy hosts .

Please tell what the ****** error is.

Can you give us a total desciption of your set up:
1. OS version? (eg: Windows 98)
2. What firewalls you have?
3. ram?
4. Hard Disk space available?
5. Connection type? (eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers?
7. Where are you trying to connect from (home, school, work, etc.)?
8. What version of Limewire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
9. Is this the 1st time you've used LW or are you an older user with a new problem?

1 . Windows XP Home Edition
2 . No firewalls installed
3 . 15.4 GB
4 . Broadband = 512k
5 . Modem is Speedtouch
7 . I am connecting at home
8 . Java Version 150_2
9 . What happened was limewire was perfectly running on Java 1.4.2 until one day I loaded it and it would'nt come on and remain minmized on the menu . I searched the forums and found something called Fix Limewire . I upgraded Java and it froze on LW 4.2.6 and then I upgraded it to LW 4.8.1 and still the errors remain .

So please tell me what I should do , Sorry for the delay since when I loaded limewire to check my Java Version it did froze again,

Red face Still does'nt work

It tried compatibilty with Windows 2000 and still limewire freezes .

I am EXTREMELY frustarted , I am happy with the download speeds but guess what whats the point if all the downloads are going to be busy when the LW freezes.

Please tell me if there is any other method!!!
