Use the uninstall program under Start menu>Programs>LW>Uninstaller. This will only remove what was installed, not what was created after installation. Your Shared folder & LW Prefs will remain.

What if I had to reformat my harddrive, deleting everything pretty much, and make copies of the files on disc, is there a simple way to just copy a file that keeps the data, or do I have to back-up all of the 'incomplete' files, if I can even do that?

I'm wondering about the downloads.dat and downloads.bak

I need to know soon because my computer is currently dying badly.

Hey, I'm kinda in the same boat. I can't find a folder in my program files that says "shared" and can't move my folder to the desktop to run it in like a WinAmp form.

Basically what I'm trying to say is, I can't save my files at all. They're not showing in my program files and I want to save them on my desktop in my other shared folder, but don't know how.

Can someone help!
Thanks

By default your Shared folder should be here: C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared

You can't save to the desktop. At least it's not recommended to try.

To access this folder easily, go to LW's Library window & select Shared on the list & press the Explore button & this will open it up for you. You can then copy or cut or drag & drop the files to wherever.
