Default Avi keeps crashing?

Hi
I've downlaoded a movie avi, bu Everytime I use any program inc. G-spot or avi preview it keeps crashing. I've also tried to fix it using popular software, but no luck

Any help please

Did you try VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ (choose nearest mirror site) If still problems then the file might be corrupt or you don't have enough ram or something to play it. Might also be related to your video card. But if other movies play ok then I'd doubt that.

Yes, I tried videolan it crashed as well. other movies have been downloaded and played. my system is considered to be v. good lot of ram (700). I think it's the movie. I just wished that people i downloaded it from warned me,
by the way it is movie if anyone is woundering.

Try using Bitzi lookup. Search the name bitzi using the search button above to find out how to use it. It will give some feedback abot reports of file quality, etc.
