1. Go to Tools>Options>Saving & press the Default button & apply button.

2. Go to LW's Library window & select Incomplete folder to the left. Then press the Explore button. This will open the folder up for you so you can move the movie file to wherever you wish it to be. It's obviously 100% downlded now unlike the others in that folder.

OK so you set your downlds for a different folder than default. So reset it to your music folder & press apply. Your preferences might have become corrupt. If that doesn't work then try deleting your LW preferences folder as LW will recreate them next time you open LW. Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Fixes for Limewire

Why don't you use the computer's search engine to find your file. If it's not there then you probably did delete it. And no, not sent to the recycle bin but totally erased.

Directory is here: C:/Documents And Settings/your_username/.limewire
And you delete the entire folder not just the contents. Simple just send the entire folder to the recycle bin (but only with LW closed.) Next time you open LW it will create a new preferences folder. So make any note of settings before you delete it as you'll need to reset them upon re-opening LW.

Oh I forgot the above is for Win Xp.

Windows 98 / ME: Your .limewire folder is in "C:\My Documents"
Windows NT 4.0 / 2000 / XP: Your .limewire folder is in "C:\Documents and Settings\Username"

If it's not in the shared or incomplete folders, then use your system search engine to find it.

ok - im afraid to say that even after doing all of what you have told me to do i cant find it - so it must be deleted - BUT I CAN FIND PART OF IT!!! - it must be a preview (its in the incomplete folder) - so is there a way of continuing that files download???
