When starting up limewire sometimes it just closes within 30 seconds and i need to re-open the program. It then does it again, if not it'll just do it randomly and ill have to be lucky to actually have it stay open long enough to do something. Does ne one have ne ideas on this?

Not sure. But if you have lots of shared & lots of incomplete files & not much ram then LW might be suffering. Tip: Purge the Downloads Queue! Make sure your Java is up to date.

i have latest java installed same version
and it shuts itself down sometimes in 3 seconds sometimes in an hour please help

Sometimes one version of Java doesn't run well on particular systems. Thus you could try uninstalling one version & installing another instead. Downld Java & save to your comp (don't install over the net!), & then install it. Get a link to Java 1.5 & 1.4.x installers from here: Fixes for Limewire You could try deleting your LW preferences folder also.
